Abalone Yee Sang this CNY
Happy Chinese New Year to friends and readers that are celebrating. It's a happening CNY this 2018, it's because I did online shopping at 11 Street. I bought Yee Sang set which comes with 2 sets of Yee Sang and each has a canned of abalone. I bring a set back to hometown and it's a good time together as you can see the youtube above. Repair auto gate home cost RM350
It's October how are you doing? You have not seen me updating much here because I am more often blogging on my parenting and lifestyle blog.
This post related the auto gate, the auto gate cannot open the gate anymore even press the controller. It seems the auto gate system the board has to be replace. It cost RM350 for that and not yet include if wanna replacement the battery. So the battery has been remove. To add the battery to the auto gate system it would cost another RM150.
It's costly so just repair the auto gate and pay RM350 for it. That goes RM350, soon next month need to pay for car insurance etc. Year end usually got payment to pay than usual, how about you?

XES shoes at Glenmarie, Shah Alam
Last week, I visited the outlet that I missed going XES Premium Boutique in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. I saw their Facebook shoes that the outlet is having sales so my sister in law decided that she wants to check out the outlet. When we arrived at the store, outside is selling bed sheets and some shoes. Inside of the outlet having half of the store selling clothes for female and kids, leather goods and jewelry.
I spotted a pair of shoes that I like cost RM18, sad to say they have sold out of my size. My SIL didn't spot any that attracts her, she went looking for the bed sheets instead. Anyway we got home with empty hands.
Sad to see that the lighting in the stores have left missing lot and we can see visible wiring hanging down the ceiling. Anyway I did my shopping of XES shoes in AEON BIG, Subang Jaya when they have the offer of 2nd purchase 80 cents of shoes XES. I bought 2 sandals that cost about RM76 for both.

Shopping or spend time with loved ones
Last week I get the choice of going shopping with my girl friends or spend time with my son. Well both are good and because my son next year is Standard 4 in Primary School. The school says that he will needs to choose one of the activities to do, it maybe Scout or Red Cresent.
So I decided to accompany him to go jungle trek at Awana Longhouse. We saw the live show of Alvin and The Chipmunks! Yeah you can click on the detail for the activities we do on the day but no yet blog about the Awana Longhouse. We spend good time together and also with other bloggers on the day.
Shopping is good though as I can shop for clothes for CNY, but because it clashed the date with son's event so I can only choose what's the best for him.

Bring mom and family to dine for steamboat buffet
This morning I woke up 7am and then by 8am I am out of the house only drank milo for breakfast. Then I reached IPC at 8.20am and the entrance to mall is still closed but I parking at B2 so I saw a guy going to work so I ask him how to go up to mall. He shows me the way until enter to Cold Storage. As he also works in the Cold Storage, not sure of his position though but know that he went to work by motorcycle.
Then after 11am I went to Midvally using waze and showed me way to Kerinchi way. Then I calling my dad to tell I want to bring mom out for dinner steamboat buffet. I promise her that I am going to bring her out for eat during her birthday but we didn't because of the bad haze.
I have bring mom home first then we also go to buy some nasi lemak ayam, sotong and kerang, each packet is RM2.50. The malay stall is located opposite of the hotel in SS15 Subang Jaya. My mom also chooses to eat the fried banana.
Dinner Restaurant Yuen Steamboat has move to Kelana Jaya. We have dined there a few times, we need to pay parking fee there. 5 adults (mom, me, dear, nephew, sis in law) and my 2 children but my eldest RM17, youngest is RM10. Total pay is RM203, inclusive of two can drinks, ice teas.

Planning to go Melaka
It's been more than 5 years since my parents last step foot in Melaka, the last trip with them were few years back. Melaka town is fulled with many food to eat, I am hoping to dine for my favourite meals there.
Can't wait it's just few more days to go and we going to have family vacation there. My dear checked the best deal would be in Swiss Garden Hotel and Apartment, we haven't been to this hotel before it would be our first experience there.
We thought of Hatten Hotel but the family suite for 4 pax cost up to RM880 a night with only breakfast for 4 pax. I read about the hotel accommodation review on the hotel.
For us the accommodation is important because we prefer family room. The connection room in the hotel would be fine for us, but these days not many hotels are having this convenient. The new rooms in hotel now are mostly side by side for your convenience it's not connecting room after all. We want to stick together so it's best to be staying close together. Nobody wants to be split up or in separate rooms which is far apart from each other.

Different lifestyle in the family
So everyone has a different lifestyle, let met tell you about mine. When I was standard 6, I followed my parents to outstation for work. My dad was transfer to Kuching, Sarawak for 3 and half years, then Ipoh for 5 and half years.
When we move back to Subang Jaya, I started using the products which available in the restroom. My sister's body gel, and other things. I think we are apart for many years we never get the feeling of sharing products. We do comes back to visit my siblings whenever there's holiday. So guess what happen next?! My sister found out that I have been using her product, she ask me that I need to buy the exact same product to give her back.
It take times for us to get used of sharing products. Because of misunderstand and communication, my sister started to argue with my parents. My second sister decided to move out as she can't seem to get along with us or she just want a life of her own.
Anyway she's a nun now, I still share my things with her. She's always welcome to come back home anytime.

I tried this product Nivea Whitening In-Shower skin conditioner, and find it too strong for me, passing this to my lovely family member. As for me, after using this I feel itchy skin in the night. I feel uncomfortable using this.
I'll continue to use the blue bottle which is Nivea in-shower intensive skin conditioner as I have itchy skin/dry skin during the night. I have used up to six bottles now, since the first day. If you like to read my review about this product click on the link above.
Edited 22 July 2014, Tuesday. My family member, sister-in-law used this Nivea Whitening In-Shower skin conditioner product twice a day for morning and evening. It's suitable for her, she doesn't experience itchy or dryness. After using the product, it's given her smooth looking skin. I'm happy to know that this product is suitable for her. For your info, my sister-in-law is in her 40s.

Shopping@FOS warehouse sales
Yeah you know that I like shopping at FOS warehouse sales, so this time I aimed to shop for my dear.
Yeah they have XXL size, the neck of 18 inch or 17.5 inch. I bought total of five for my dear. Each RM35, so you do the calculating.
They have short sleeves working top price from RM19 and above, well they are not suitable for my dear as he's a plus size.
The FOS warehouse sales at 18, Jalan Pelukis U1/46, Seksyen U1, Temasya Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam. Sales is going on until this coming Sunday. They are open from 10am to 8pm.
My friend supposed to go shopping with me, but sad to say her dad passed away early morning and her family rushed back home town. She can go shopping with me next time, it's family first now.

Yeah denim jeans for only RM5, they have many choices, even having more than RM5 choices. But I didn't purchase any as I don't need them.
I bought panties and cotton t-shirt there for my parents.
Almost forgot to mention, you can ask the staff open the packing for you to check. Sometimes they have stains on it, no kidding that's why I need to check each piece before purchase.

Thursday Maniac
I can't believe that this coming Thursday is a full day busy for me. I need to go three shopping malls, don't get me wrong is not shopping but for other purpose. I need help my family members to prize collection, not sure what prize is it but I'll be there to find out.

Last day shopping is no good
Mmm.. I would say last day shopping is no good because my friend wanted to purchase adult diapers for her grandmother but they are sold out.
Never shop on last day because sales products usually runs out fast. Some people purchase many to keep stock because they are cheap on sales. But you need check on expiry date.
It is last day for the sales three pack adult diapers RM80 something. Too bad the shop runs out of stock.
I have been told that early sales chances of purchase higher. Don't you agree?

Lego Marvel Super Heroes

This set is Lego Marvel Super Heroes, he did build the toys empire by himself. Look how happy is my son, he's happy to show off to you.
Gonna keep this away from toddler, he's going to throw every piece of Lego in hand. :(
I am glad my seven year old son have fun with this, he can't get enough of it. He loves Lego toys, this is first time he's getting such big set of toy!
It's good for him to be creative and understand the manual guide from the paper to do it.
School is opening soon on this Thursday, he needs to sleep early and wake up early for school.

Event in Penang
I am so happy to receive an email to go event at Penang but sad to say, I haven't go there for more than 15 years. Woot the last time I went was driving my dad's car, he's having a company trip and I am his driver along with mom. Hehehe..
I missed the trip with my parents. Now they are apart, yeah mom is living in nursing home but she gets to go home stay few days with my brother's family and my dad.
I love to bring my family and parents to go holiday to Penang. Just one thing stop me from doing that, well you know it right? No money, no talk.

Shopping pearls jewelry for mom
It is fun to go shopping and I am happy I found pearl bracelet for my mom in law. Her birthday is coming up and yeah this is a nice gift for her. I choose the colour of pink!
Talking of pearls, sister-in-law too shopping for pearls for mom. She purchased pearls necklace for her, her choice is white pearls because that's the only choice for pearls.

CNY shopping yet to start
Yeah still waiting the month of Feb for salary, as you know I am stay at home to my kids I cannot afford to purchase everything. I need to wait my dear salary out and also make sure don't over spend the money.
This year I didn't buy many things on CNY, never mind my kids come first so I know I have purchase some pretty nice clothes for them. I do check on the price before purchase.
I stop thinking of going vacation knowing I cannot afford and we don't have the money to go at the moment. Let's enjoy being home sweet home! :D
