School trolley bag, handle broken again

It's Wednesday and it's second time the trolley bag handle break up again. Yeah lucky that the bag didn't break in the school, I am sure son be panic and don't know what to do about it.

The trolley bag is from another bag. Because the bag I have given son use didn't have the handle for pulling.

It's not cheap if wanna purchase new trolley bag, the bag is heavy due to books. We do check on the time table but then still heavy.

Same goes with eldest son's bag, he used backpack and the handle of bag is almost breaking up.

Mamee Jonker House in Melaka

The last time I visit to Mamee Jonker House was in 2014 year. Wow time fly, I attended alone with other bloggers. It was fun day visiting at Melaka at the same time it is tiring as going and back on the same day.

Well I am getting invitation again this time for Mother's Day, sad to say the day of event fall on Monday. It is tough decision for me because kids are schooling, so it's tough to ask kids to leave their studies and go on this trip.

Interesting flow of the event included:

10am-11am : Noodle Doodle - Mothers assist their kids in custom making of their own Chef noodle cup.

11am-12pm : Monster Kitchen - Mothers assist their kids in cooking their very own Mamee Monster Snack.

12pm-1:30pm : Lunch at Mamee Café – Indulge yourselves in our wide range of menu variety.

1:30pm-2:00pm : Photo Op

Though is a nice time to spend with kids, bonding together. But why choose the date on weekday as you know children need to go school and parents to need work on the day!

There's school holiday and weekends to choose for such event. 

Is education never a concern by them? 

Shopping or spend time with loved ones

Last week I get the choice of going shopping with my girl friends or spend time with my son. Well both are good and because my son next year is Standard 4 in Primary School. The school says that he will needs to choose one of the activities to do, it maybe Scout or Red Cresent.

So I decided to accompany him to go jungle trek at Awana Longhouse. We saw the live show of Alvin and The Chipmunks! Yeah you can click on the detail for the activities we do on the day but no yet blog about the Awana Longhouse. We spend good time together and also with other bloggers on the day.

Shopping is good though as I can shop for clothes for CNY, but because it clashed the date with son's event so I can only choose what's the best for him.

Shopping son school uniforms

Last night we head to NSK Kuchai Lama after celebrate my bro's twins daughter birthday. I am happy to find cheap school uniform for son. I bought five pairs of school uniform pants for him. Three pairs are size 36, another two pairs are size 38. He can fit in 36 and 38, at home he's having size 34. Each pair of pants RM8, it's worth to purchase and I am happy to shop there. We brought mom-in-law and niece to go NSK as mom haven't go there for a long time.

It was full parking last night but we didn't give up looking for parking. I am glad we decided to go NSK as I can shop for affordable school uniform pants for son. We bought some vegetables too. I saw body shower Carrie Junior RM13 for member but I didn't purchase any.

I haven't shop for son's white shoes for schooling. It seems they didn't have a bigger size for him. Looks like I need to bring him to other shop to find his white shoes. He current shoes size 5 but I was told soon he's can't fit in anymore. His Mickey Mouse white shoes no longer fit him though its long lasting wear.

He's standard three this year, I hope he has interest to learn and study smart in class. It's going to be a tough year for him. 

Baby fair this weekend@Midvalley

This weekend has the baby fair for purchase any good deal on baby stuff and diapers. I don't think I'm going, it seems they have baby fair or parenthood fair now and then. You can go many times in a year, but I find that I don't need to go this weekend as son having exam next week. I prefer to stay home with him to revision him.

Going out will be hours and once back we'll be tired and no mood for anything else.

My friend told me of Sat with free movie treat for bloggers, movie can watch anytime but exam you can't have it any time.

Stationery: stapler for son

Son told me that I need to purchase a stapler for him because he needs to use it in class. The teacher told them last week, but he told me last Friday when I was driving home. Today I purchased the Stapler for him. I didn't purchase from Daiso as I know stapler cost can be lesser than RM5  if I purchase from other shop.

Education fee for son

Well it is all about money, there is education fee apply if I put him to go extra classes. It is for his education because the school he is studying wants high expectation. I didn't want him to be the best but I want him to try his best. :D

Education fee per subject $70 and supplement fee $40 per subject, what else? Need to pay for 6 months!

I need save money for him to go for education subjects which he's poor. Sad to say most subjects he's poor. :(

Shopping for school trolley bag

Yesterday heavy rain caused my son's school trolley bag wet. Lucky he has got spare trolley bag to use. The handle near the trolley bag broken but still can use to push. Some friends having school trolley bag problem too, they have problem with school trolley bags which broken handle or broken wheel.

My friends bought new trolley bag for their children.

Not just spare trolley bag, we also need spare white shoes. My son has got three pair of white shoes! Yesterday the white shoes he's wearing got wet, today he wore another pair. Not just his shoes, my sandals got wet too!

 

Math text book for son

I didn't want to say this but it is sad to know the boy took my son's math text book finally gives him back today. The bad news is I bought the new text book for him for replacement. Oh well, there goes my money $6.60 for the math text book. What am I going to do with it? It is no way to return shop for refund. :(

The books was inside his bag since Monday but Wednesday no longer there then Thursday today the boy return. I should have wait a few more days perhaps.

 

Shopping stationery for son

I bought some stationery for son, yeah looks like I love shopping for my son. He's in primary one and he has to learn to use write with mechanical pencil which I find easier for him because he no need to sharpen his pencils so often. I choose to purchase 2.0 mechanical pencil because they are thicker and not easy to break like 0.5 mechanical pencil. Let me know your thoughts on using mechanical pencil.

Some friends of mine think that children in primary school year one not allow to use mechanical pencil. I put both mechanical pencil and normal pencil for him to use. I have given him sharpener because his colour pencils will need to sharpen sometimes. I just throw away his old sharpener which no longer can be sharpen.

I went to the BIG BOOK STORE at Taipan USJ, it is located same roll with Watson and Guardian, corner of the building is McD. I want to go McD but I didn't, I have not purchase the Hello Kitty from McD.
