What to do during Movement Control Orders (MCO)

What to do at home? There's alot we can do and depends how you plan the day. The wood flooring in room, I found plenty to stick it back. No kidding lots of dusts underneath the wood. It's important to find each piece of it and sticks it back. There was time I have wet feet coming out of restroom and my feet sticks up the wood flooring.

Talking of woods, there's morning time where my hubby went to pasar pagi SS15 and he found long queue there and didn't go for as it he went already a day earlier for vegetables. He wanted to buy just eggs on the next day, so he went to Lim Groceries Shop instead. He also bought salted eggs, this we can make some porridge to eat at home.

Then he went SS14 he saw less people there, he take away food too to come back. He also bought kampung chicken eggs.

Cleaning the room is a challenge, lots to do and organize. I need more time and arranging the items in room. This is the time where you find things you have bought before but forgotten where you put it. I join contests sometimes through Facebook and Instagram even offline contests. Skincare products are out of my bucket lists for shopping at the moment.

How about you? What have you been doing? I also bleached my hair, you can view on my youtube.

Brother's Mall Wholesale City, USJ 1, Subang Jaya

This morning I visited the Brother's Mall Wholesale City, USJ 1, Subang Jaya.
My sister-in-law go with me as she wants to check out this mall and there's shop that sell shoes.
But sad to say that it's nothing much in the mall, there is no food outlet at all. So we want to eat lunch there's no food outlet we cannot eat there. It's disappointed for us, as we thought the outlet will be like XES shoes outlet.

SAN D3sign Boutique, I saw most of the shoes are made in China. They have limited choice on the shoes. Price range from RM25 onwards.

SegiFresh however many people are shopping here for vegetables. But we didn't find anything that we need to cook for Asam laksa!

If compare this mall with Damen USJ, which I recently visited. You can click on the link to see the outlet I went last week.

“GO CASHLESS” GIANT SHOPPER WINS PROTON EXORA

This morning I attended the event to find out who are the winners for "GO GASHLESS CONTEST". The concourse at Giant USJ was filled with cheers and applause this morning, as 10 lucky customers received their prizes, including a Proton Exora 1.6 standard, for winning in the “Giant Go Cashless” shopping contest. Joining them in the joyous celebration were their family members.

Above Norine Majaman, General Manager, Marketing of GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the owner of Giant stores in Malaysia; and Peter Schiesser, Managing Director of Malaysian Electronic Clearing Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyClear) together awaiting Grand Prize winner announcement.

The Go Cashless contest is one of GCH Retail’s ongoing efforts to encourage consumers, especially those who shop at Giant, to pay for their purchases with ATM or debit cards. It was organised in conjunction with (MyClear) in support of the Government’s aspirations to make cashless transactions a way of life in Malaysia.

This contest has attracted over 73,000 entries in the eight-week contest, which is almost double the number entries received in the 13 weeks last year.

The results are very encouraging as it shows that customers are ready to embrace the e-debit habit and to make cashless transactions a way of life.

Giant is the first hypermarket chain to offer customers the convenience of shopping with their ATM cards at all Giant stores throughout the country.

Apart from eliminating the risks and costs arising from handling cash, e-debit transactions also lowers the cost of doing business, as the merchant discount rate for ATM/debit cards is at least 40 per cent lower than international branded debit and credit cards. For customers, e-debit gives them another option of a convenient and safe way to pay for their shopping.

The ATM cards issued by 15 banks – Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, Agro Bank, AmBank, Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, Bank Rakyat, CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Maybank, OCBC, Public Bank, UOB Bank and RHB Bank were accepted for participation in the contest.

The winners of the contest are as follows:

 Naziah Binti Mohd Yusuff took home the Grand Prize of Proton Exora 1.6 Standard, worth RM56,500;
 Henery Anak Sigan walked away with the 1st prize of Air Asia Travel voucher worth RM8,000.00;
 Samehah Binti Wan Abdullah took home the 2nd prize of Air Asia Travel voucher worth RM5,000.00;
 Anwar Ul Haque won the 3rd prize of Air Asia Travel voucher worth RM3,000.00.

Six others each received a consolation prize of RM1,000 worth of Air Asia Travel vouchers, they were.
Teh Fatihah Binti Hassan
Che Rosli Bin Che Othman,
Mohd Arif Fadzli Bin Ibrahim,
Faizzah Binti Mohtar,
Jaliyah Binti Jalil
and Mohd Ilyas Bin Mohd Jamin.

Once again congrats to winners, it's a joy looking at everyone's happy face during the prize giving ceremony.

Different lifestyle in the family

So everyone has a different lifestyle, let met tell you about mine. When I was standard 6, I followed my parents to outstation for work. My dad was transfer to Kuching, Sarawak for 3 and half years, then Ipoh for 5 and half years.

When we move back to Subang Jaya, I started using the products which available in the restroom. My sister's body gel, and other things. I think we are apart for many years we never get the feeling of sharing products. We do comes back to visit my siblings whenever there's holiday. So guess what happen next?! My sister found out that I have been using her product, she ask me that I need to buy the exact same product to give her back.

It take times for us to get used of sharing products. Because of misunderstand and communication, my sister started to argue with my parents. My second sister decided to move out as she can't seem to get along with us or she just want a life of her own.

Anyway she's a nun now, I still share my things with her. She's always welcome to come back home anytime.

Are you living in a lifestyle that you can share things to use at home? There's no problem at all? It's very good then, keep it up.

Life is a long journey, we are learning and there's no right or wrong.

I am just sharing with you about my lifestyle in the past, this is how my family lifestyle before having my own family.

Being mommy of two boys, I am busy juggling lifestyle. So I didn't have time to put him on napkin even though we do give him wear napkin like once or twice a day. I found good sale in diapers, looks like AEON Big is clearing the Carrefour brand products.

Last night we head the AEON Big in Subang Jaya, I found the diapers XL size 20 pieces. I thought they were sold out because I couldn't find in the baby's area. They are available one floor down near the beverage area.

RM8 or RM10 a packet for XL size 20 pieces, it depends which you are choosing. You can find the picture in my instagram find sherrygo!

new Giant@ First Subang Mall

It is my first time to go Giant at First Subang Mall, the address is LG02, Lower Ground Floor, First Subang Mall, Jalan SS15/4G, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor. The First Subang Mall is nearby the Hong Leong Bank. There is extended business hours valid from today to 2nd October. They are open from 9am to 11pm on these days.

There is Goodies worth RM20 when you spend RM80 and above in a single receipt except fo purchases of cigarettes, beer and liqour. Limited for first 1000 customers only. I was there to collect this goodies as my spending was RM130. The Goodies is only valid for today only.

The opening has lion dance and many people were there with trolley standby to go in and shop. I also have a trolley as I bought Darlie tooth paste 2x250g RM10.49 and there is free Darlie Wavy Fresh Toothbrush 1 worth RM4.29. I bought a no frills storage box at RM8.99. There is more which I purchase which not listed here.

After shopping the only problem is paying I queue up nearly 2 hours to pay the items. It is a long queue and trolleys jam up the area of cashier so it will be difficult for you to shop around too. Do take note that after payment it will be hard to move your trolley around so you need to hand carry your shopping bags. I went back there for second time today because noticed the item I bought the price not the same. So remember if you are shopping there check out the price of item you bough after you paid for them.
