First love self care and love is very important, by the way there still time to start voting for your favourite products and brands in Guardian click on the link to read more about it. Yeah it's going to be over soon if you not to take part in this voting!

Guardian body wash and oral care product I often bought them for my family members to use. The price is reasonable and most important is the family members are comfortable using them.

There's perfume and health supplement in this healthy beauty box. Sharing is caring, don't forget to take care of yourself and people around you. I like this box as it's nice as a gift box too. Unboxing time is fun and exciting as you wouldn't know what's inside as you can surprise loved ones with it!

I know its RMCO and everyone has got their budget, it's always good to check the price before purchase. If its good deal time, I often purchase more as I know I would using them in future too. How about you?

Guardian Unveils New Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Organic Anti-Dandruff Haircare Range

(From left to right) Cassius Lawrence and Linda Hatta, Celebrity Hairstylists, Low Huey Voon, model, Michelle Yeap, Product Manager, Group Health & Beauty, Tiffany Choo Yann Shan, Head of Personal Care, Alfonso Roderos, Corporate Brand Director, Dairy Farm Group at the Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Anti-Dandruff launch.

Busy parenting, didn't stop me from taking care of myself. Yeah having dandruff can be disturbing. Do you have dandruff? Several studies have shown a prevalence of dandruff of up to 50% in the general population1. While dandruff is not contagious or physically harmful, it can cause sufferers to present as messy or unhygienic; and cause embarrassment and a loss of self-confidence2.

Dandruff can have several causes, with dry skin being the most common cause of flaking dandruff3. Other causes include, irregular or incorrect scalp and hair care, over-shampooing and sensitivity to hair care products.

There are many anti-dandruff treatments. While the majority of anti-dandruff treatment are effective in reducing the formation of dandruff flakes, there is a concern that hair and scalp can be stripped off protective oils making the scalp more prone to flaking due to dryness, and making hair dry and difficult to manage4.

Guardian has introduced an anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner to its popular nature-inspired Botaneco Garden Organic Trio Oil range. The Botaneco Garden brand is conceptualized, developed, produced, and is available exclusively at Guardian. The anti-dandruff variant is an option for eco-conscious consumers who prefer a gentle yet effective daily shampoo and conditioner to address dandruff.

Forecast for the global health and beauty market is positive as reported by Euromonitor International, a market research provider with the firm predicting a year-on-year growth in constant terms 2017-2018 to come in at 2.6% for the global industry5. Segments such as hair care and skin care are expected to show growth of 1.4% and 3.3% respectively6.

Guardian Own Brand Director of Health & Beauty, Mr Alfonso Roderos explained that the company is experiencing similar growth in the hair care and skin care segments through brands such as Botaneco Garden.

“The needs, values and expectations of beauty consumers will continue to evolve as consumers become more health conscious seeking out formulations that are free-from specific harmful chemicals and place a greater emphasis on environmentally friendly, cruelty-free options that offer a do-good, feel-good experience, and focuses on the need for a more authentic brand experience in real life, and via digital platforms,” Mr Roderos said.

Guardian Malaysia now operates a chain of over 400 stores, providing an unrivalled variety of Pharmaceutical, Health and Beauty products to more than 2.5 million Malaysian customers a month, across the country. It is among the leading health, beauty and personal care chains in Malaysia.
Mr Roderos sharing his experience of Botaneco Garden Trio Oil Anti-Dandruff shampoo.
Mr Alfonso Roderos, Guardian Own Brand Director of Health & Beauty, shared that the Botaneco Garden brand is growing rapidly in tandem with increased consumer interest in green products. The brand now features a robust roster of 43 products since its introduction in 2013.

“Increasingly global trends are moving towards more environmentally conscious, caring and gentle products7. These products often see a greater use of green, organic based, sustainable ingredients. It has been the global concern to reduce pollution and the degradation of the environment8 as well as giving confidence in the quality the process brings. With Botaneco Garden, Guardian is able to give consumers what they desire at an affordable price and with the assurance of a dermatologically tested and proven product range with quality, eco-certified ingredients,” Mr Roderos said.

There are four product categories under the Botaneco Garden brand namely Inca Inchi which uses Inca Inchi9 and Aloe Vera as key ingredients, the premium Organic Argan and Olive Oil range Botaneco Garden Baby which uses eco-certified chamomile and colloidal oatmeal for a gentle and effective baby range; and the Trio Oil range which uses a trifecta of 100% eco-certified oil - Babassu, Baobab and Chufa.

All Botaneco Garden products feature a free-from formulation - free from specific ingredients such as Parabens, silicone, soap, colorant, lanolin & DEA10 for a unique and caring formulation that is kinder to skin and hair, and to the environment.

Each product within the Botaneco Garden Trio Oil range features five moisturisers – the three main oils, and two others that are chosen for their specific functions for hair and skin. The Botaneco Garden Organic Trio Oil Anti –Dandruff shampoo and conditioner are enriched with Jojoba and Coconut oil. The moisturising benefits of this range make it gentle and effective in reducing flaky dandruff which ordinarily results from excessive drying of skin and over-activity of the oil gland11.

Research studies highlight the benefits of jojoba oil as a moisturizing ingredient. Traditionally jojoba oil have been used in Latin American hair and beauty remedies as a skin and hair conditioner12. It is noted for its fast absorption13.

Coconut oil has well-studied hair moisture-retaining capabilities14. It has been traditionally used for skin and hair conditioning, and for reducing the signs of dandruff by alleviating dry scalp conditions.

The high level of usage results in shampoos being the largest personal care category, representing 37% of the total global hair care market15. With Malaysia’s hot and humid weather, the usage of shampoo may be higher than the global average as most Malaysians tend to wash their hair daily.

“With the Botaneco Garden, we have created a balance between nature and science that provides a gentle and caring hair care routine, even for dandruff prone scalp and hair. The five times moisturisers in Botaneco Garden products address dry scalp, the most frequent cause of dandruff. The use of essential oils such as peppermint, menthol and tea-tree that have been traditionally used for reducing flakes compliment the moisturising benefits in the Botaneco Garden Organic Trio Oil Anti-dandruff range,” Ms Michelle Yeap, Product Manager, Group Health & Beauty.

Tea Tree Oil’s properties have been studied and tested in laboratory tests16 for its efficacy in reducing the formation of dandruff, and in improving scalp and hair condition. Peppermint contain menthol, selenium and zinc which are proven antiflake ingredients17.

“For those with dandruff, take note that it cannot be cured but it can be reduced. Daily usage of a gentle, nature-inspired anti-dandruff hair care range such as Botaneco Garden Organic Trio Oil anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner can help to reduce the formation of flakes, while leaving hair smoother and more manageable. When hair and scalp are in better condition users can switch over to a gentle daily usage shampoo and conditioner, with the anti-dandruff range ready if the condition reoccurs,” Ms Yeap said.

The Botaneco Garden Organic Trio Oil Anti-dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner are priced at RM19.90 each, and are available at all Guardian stores nationwide, and through the Guardian e-store ww.guardian.com.my.

Last day shopping is no good

Mmm.. I would say last day shopping is no good because my friend wanted to purchase adult diapers for her grandmother but they are sold out.

Never shop on last day because sales products usually runs out fast. Some people purchase many to keep stock because they are cheap on sales. But you need check on expiry date.

It is last day for the sales three pack adult diapers RM80 something. Too bad the shop runs out of stock.

I have been told that early sales chances of purchase higher. Don't you agree?

Cheras Leisure Mall after many years

The first time to go Cheras Leisure Mall, the last was ten years back. I am happy to choose use backpack for travel because I need to put in the goodie bag which after the challenge. It is the Bio-essence Celebrity's Choice 14 Days challenge. I am happy to took part in this three Sundays challenge, although my friends didn't win the challenge but I am glad we go home with goodie bag.

You can click on the link above to see the goodie bag, one of the useful Bio-essence miracelbiowater.

There is leakage while open the packing, I think because it must be left in the box for too long. Perhaps they have a journey and kept it too long in the car under heat. The weather is Malaysia is hot, you cannot keep food or beauty products in car too long.

Anyway going back home I need to take taxi from Cheras Leisure Mall to Subang Jaya and it cost me RM30.
