GUARDIAN MALAYSIA LOWERS AND LOCKS PRICES OF 1,500 ESSENTIALS

 

Guardian Malaysia today launched a nation-wide initiative to lower and lock the prices of 1,500 items of health, beauty and personal care essentials to cushion the impact of financial challenges brought about by the pandemic.

The prices of these items have been lowered and will remain unchanged for the rest of the year so that customers need not have to visit multiple places for great deals, said Soren Lauridsen, CEO of Guardian South East Asia (Guardian SEA), as well as Guardian Health And Beauty Sdn Bhd (Guardian Malaysia). 

 

He said: “We have listened closely to our customers and what they look for, especially following the onset of the pandemic and decided to support them by locking the low prices of 1,500 essentials to protect from price fluctuations.

The “Low Prices Locked To Stay Low” initiative is a regional effort by Guardian SEA and underscores the Group’s commitment to ensure prices of daily essentials such as bath, hair care, personal hygiene, vitamins and supplements remain affordable during this challenging time when customers are increasingly looking to stretch their dollar.

“Our customers throughout the country, including those who prefer to buy online, can enjoy these affordable prices and great value, every day for the rest of the year. We believe our customers will appreciate this form of support in this highly uncertain environment,” he added.

Lauridsen said the selection of products is based on Guardian’s research on customer buying behaviour and preferences. It reflects what they buy most often, such as Dove and Pantene shampoo, Darlie toothpaste and Panadal Actifast.

“Our customers also indicated that affordability is a priority, which is the focus of our initiative,” he added.

Reflecting the findings of the research, and given the current deep concerns over healthcare, a total of 35% of the items are health essentials, carefully selected to make them even more affordable.

In the current climate, Guardian observed a growth in demand for Guardian’s own brand products because of its attractive price range and trusted quality. As such prices of all Guardian Brand products have also been lowered and locked in this initiative.

Guardian Surprise box RM19 @Shopee

1010 is the date where most people exciting waiting to shop! I bought 2 boxes of Guardian surprise box, suppose each box at RM19 but before the date of 10/10. The price went up by RM29 each, so I wanted to save on the delivery and bought two of it. Sad to say, I feel its not worth buying at all. It doesn't have much products that suitable for me. I ended up giving most of the products to my sister in law to pass nephew to use them.

Most products in the box are double, which mean 2 same products. If only they make an effort of putting a sign on box that the staff can just pick other boxes instead of boxes that contained of exact same range of products. Useful personal care products I found in the box are two toothpaste each boxes.

We can check on the review on the link of shopping there. They are shoppers that shared on their photos and experienced on the shopping. Some shoppers are lucky to get the box that value for money. I guess it's depend on individual to find the products contained suitable usage or not. I have got about 5 stripes of supplements in each box too. But supplements most refer to liver health, my sister in law took them and she says want to give father in law. I suggests her to ask the doctor if he can consume it or not.

Other than that my dear called me up to queue and register for the watch of Huawei which cost RM99 and only 10pcs for sell. It's not Shopee website though. With in a minute the watches are sold out. Normal price of the watch RM799.We didn't manage to buy it as it was sold out fast.
